JK Logistika a.s. takes care to protect the personal data you provide to us. You have the right to request information about the personal data recorded, its correction or deletion if it is based on your consent. Where automated processing takes place, you have the right to data portability and not to be subject to a decision based solely on that decision. If you have any questions or requests regarding the processing of your personal data, you may contact us in writing at the address of our registered office or by email to info@jklas.cz.
Security of your personal data
JK Logistika a.s. takes care of the security of personal data. Data is sufficiently protected and no unauthorized person has access to the personal data we have collected from you. We do not pass it on to other entities for further processing without your consent, unless required by law or to protect our legal interests. You have the right to ask our company JK Logistika a.s. for information about what personal data we process and to what extent and for what purpose. We will provide you with this information free of charge within a period of no more than 30 days, and in emergency situations within a period of no more than 90 days. It is then our right to reasonably refuse requests for information that are unreasonable or unreasonably repetitive, or that require unreasonable effort to obtain, or would be difficult to obtain.
Rights of the provider of personal data
In particular, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
- the right to withdraw their consent at any time;
- the right to request restriction of processing;
- the right to correct or supplement personal data;
- the right to object to or complain about processing in certain cases;
- the right to request data portability;
- the right of access to personal data;
- the right to be informed of a personal data breach in certain cases;
- the right to erasure of personal data (the right to be „forgotten“) in certain cases;
- and other rights set out in the Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 after its entry into force.
Right to erasure
If you have ever given us consent to process your personal data, you have the right to withdraw it at any time and we are obliged to delete the data that we process solely on the basis of your consent. The right to erasure does not apply to data processed in the context of an obligation to perform a contract, legal reasons or legitimate interests. If some of your data is stored in back-up systems that automatically ensure the resilience of all our systems and act as a data loss protection function in case of disasters, it is not in our power to delete this data from the back-up systems either. This data is not actively processed in any way and will not be used for further processing purposes.

Access to data
Your data is safe with us. Data transfers only occur in exceptional circumstances, but we always carefully select the partners to whom we transfer your data and who are able to ensure that your data is technically and organisationally secure so that it cannot be accessed or otherwise misused in an unauthorised or accidental manner. All our partners are bound by confidentiality obligations and must not use the data provided to them for any purpose other than that for which we have made it available to them.

Under certain, precisely defined conditions, we are obliged to transfer some of your personal data on the basis of valid legal regulations, e.g. to the Police of the Czech Republic, or to other law enforcement authorities, including specialized departments (ÚOOZ, Customs Administration, etc.) and other public administration authorities.
Transfer of personal data to third countries
There is no transfer of personal data to processors or other recipients in third countries or international organisations.
Processing of personal data
By providing your personal data, JK Logistika a.s. becomes the processor of your personal data. On the grounds of legitimate interest, we record e-mail, employer, name, surname, title, function, date of birth, for the duration of the business relationship with the respective company (but no longer than 10 years). We process this data for the purpose of fulfilling the legitimate interest of your employer and for the purpose of communication with you and your employer.
We process your personal data mainly for the purpose of sending you information about our products (which are the subject of the business relationship), securing our website, operating our website, improving our services. We do not pass this data on to anyone else.
Your rights
You may object to this processing, as well as request the correction of the personal data provided, request to be informed of what personal data we hold about you, or request the deletion of your personal data if possible. Where automated processing is involved, you have the right to data portability and not to be subject to a decision based solely on that decision. If you have given us your consent to the processing of any of your personal data, we inform you that you can withdraw this consent at any time in the future and it is the supplier's obligation to delete this data subsequently and not to process it further. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent given prior to its withdrawal.
